Over the years, Swing 52 founder Benji Candelario has dominated the club scene, developing an impeccable reputation as an internationally celebrated DJ and visionary producer/remixer for some of biggest artists in the industry. Candelario's resume has released smash after smash like “Heading in the Right Direction,” BC “Switch It,” and Arnold Jarvis “You've Let Love Slip Away,” with the latter two reaching #2 on Billboard's Breakout Chart, reaffirming Candelario's lasting presence as a true dance music connoisseur.
However it was Swing 52's Colour Of Skin co-produced and co-written in the 1994, with Wayne Rollins and Oscar P, that established Swing 52 as a force in dance music history. The track was released by Cutting Records in the US, then later licensed to Polygram/FFRR in the UK, and went on to become a top 10 smash selling over 300,000 copies via singles, and compilations worldwide. The classic house anthem now gets the tech-house-electro retouch from producer Alistair Albrecht.
Alistair Albrecht started producing in 2008. His first release ‘What Would We Do’ with DJ partner Patrick Hagenaar went straight to No.1 across all major DJ download sites. The track was supported by the likes of Eric Morillo and Pete Tong. Since then Alistair has gone on to top the house, tech house and techno charts, had three tracks simultaneously in the top 10 house charts, remixed for some of the biggest artists and labels in the world and DJ’d around the globe.
Alistair has always been at the forefront of dance music, before producing he was involved in organizing the first ever Desert Parties in the Middle East, earned his UK DJ stripes at the legendary Turnmills, was the main resident and promotions manager at Pacha London for three years, held residencies at every major London venue, hosted one of the most successful club nights in the UK capital and DJ’d across the globe.
With his continuous worldwide DJ schedule, weekly radio show syndicated out to over 20 stations worldwide, multiple remixes, Alistair’s release schedule for 2012 looks even stronger with several solo and H&A releases set for the year.
